Your data & privacy
InboxOji is built around a simple promise: the AI does the typing, you keep the judgment. That includes judgment about your data. Here is exactly what InboxOji can see, what it does, and what it never does.
What InboxOji can see
InboxOji does not read your whole inbox. It only acts on mail that matches a rule you've made live. When a new email matches one of the situations you've described in a live rule, InboxOji pays attention to that thread, and nothing else.
The rule is the gate. No matching rule, no draft. If an email does not match any of your live rules, InboxOji never sees it. Your personal mail, your other conversations, the rest of your inbox: all of it stays outside InboxOji's view.
- It sees the emails that match a rule you've made live.
- It sees the threads it drafts a reply on, so the reply fits the conversation.
- It does not see anything that doesn't match a live rule.
What it does with them
When an email matches a rule, InboxOji reads that message and writes a reply draft for you. The draft sounds like you, because it follows the writing voice you set in Settings. If you use them, it also draws on your Variables and Snippets PRO+ and any documents you have attached to that rule in its Knowledge base PRO+, so the wording and the facts come out right.
Every draft lands in your inbox, waiting for you to review and send. Your drafts stay in your account. They are written for you, and for no one else.
What it never does
InboxOji never sends a reply without you, unless you have deliberately turned on auto-send for a specific rule. And your email content is never used to train AI models. Your messages and drafts stay in your account.
Auto-send is off by default. It is opt-in, set per rule, and reversible at any time. Until you choose to turn it on, every reply is a draft that simply waits for your review. You always have the final word.
Your controls, always on
You are never locked in. At any time you can:
- Disconnect your inbox. Unlink your Gmail account from Settings and InboxOji stops drafting.
- Export your data. Take a copy of what InboxOji holds for you. See Export your data.
- Delete your account. Close your account and remove your data for good. See Delete your account.
Keeping your account secure
A few plain, practical safeguards keep your account in your hands.
- You sign in with Google. There is no separate InboxOji password to remember or lose. You connect Gmail through Google's own sign-in, and you are granting access to InboxOji only.
- Add two-factor authentication. Turn on 2FA in Settings for a second layer of protection on sign-in. See Two-factor authentication.
- Your card is handled safely. When you add a card, it is stored securely by the payment provider in the secure billing portal. InboxOji never sees your full card details.
Your live rules are the line InboxOji works within. If you ever want to narrow what it can touch, tighten how a rule is described, or move the rule back to Drafts in Rules to pause it.
If you have a question this page does not answer, write to us at support@inboxoji.com. We are glad to walk through any of it.
